TRAVEL SUPPORT FOR 2008 APPA MEETING: The American Psychopathological Association has submitted a grant application to NIH (R13 MH082613) that includes provision to defray the travel and housing costs of selected graduate students and junior faculty. The application has had a positive review and we hope that it will be funded in time for the 2008 meeting. We now invite applications for these travel/housing grants. Applicants should be doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows or junior faculty. Postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty are eligible if they received their doctoral degree in 1997 or later. Applicants are requested to download and complete this application form. Announcements of awards will be made by January 28, 2008 or when notice of funding has been received, whichever date is later. Priority will be given to applicants who are traveling the furthest, as well as to applicants whose CV indicates academic promise or early achievement. Because this R13 grant application is still pending, no guarantee can be made that travel support will be provided. For more information, contact Dr. Patrick E. Shrout, (pat.shrout@nyu.edu) or Dr. Linda Cottler (cottler@epi.wustl.edu)
